The Illustrator, the Author’s 18-year-old daughter, has brought life to the story and will make you smile, giggle and maybe even shed a tear.
Not only will you fall in love with the main characters, Rosey, Daisy and Dandelion, but you will adore the new friends the three flowers meet along the way.
They explore their talents, learn from each other and help each other when needed, and all learn how to appreciate their friendship and even their differences.
Designed to build a foundation of good character by highlighting issues all kids experience, this book will become more than just a special quiet time before settling your child in bed.
The questions at the end of each chapter are meant to give parents a way to dig deeper into the minds and hearts of their little ones. In this age of technology, when it’s so easy to slip your child a cellular device tuned to a game or movie, this wonderful book will serve multiple purposes.
We all know that reading to your child is beneficial to their cognitive development and understanding of themselves, how they fit into the world and getting connected to their emotions, but it’s also a perfect opportunity for you to slow down, clear your mind of the day, breathe and have some fun with your kids.

Read the chapters in the Book, and then ask your child to list what has been happening in each episode.
You will both enjoy discussing their interpretation and this too, will give you an amazing opportunity to have a conversation with your child and to discover how they perceive and how they understand the world and the events around them.
This will also give them the opportunity to ask questions, so you can explain things that otherwise may not have come up, or may have just not had the right examples as the backdrop of the conversation.
DID YOU KNOW?
Being able to ask questions in life, is just about as important as it is having all the answers... (just kidding, we never quite have all the answers, right?).
But no matter how little or how much you will decide to go into discussing any issues that this chapter might raise, we can promise one thing for sure...
That every moment spent discovering each other's thoughts and feelings, is not just worth the time, but it is the most amazing time that you can spend together!

“Huh? You too? Same with Duncan and Dudley, rolling their disgusting ball of poop around.” “I love my light, Dandy. Look what I can do”, Flick said as he flew off of Rosey and up into the night sky, twisting and turning and leaving a swirl of light behind him in beautiful designs. “You can’t do that, can you, Dandy?” he shouted from high above her.
The flowers all watched in wonder as the lightning bug showed off his talent.
Dandy had to admit that this firefly was pretty fun and his skill was very impressive.
He flew down and teased his new friend Dandy as he danced around her head, squealing in delight and laughing with a “Wippee!” His fiery butt seemed to shower the dark sky and his new flower friends with a bright light.
“Wow, Flick, you are amazing to watch!” said Rosey, her eyes wide with wonder. She could tell their new friend was so proud of who he was made to be.
“What fun it would be to be able to light up the sky like that! You’re so beautiful!” Daisy added.
