Book 1 - SUNRISE
ADVENTURES AT SUNRISE - INTRODUCTION OF CHARACTERS

"Aw, Daisy, do you have to be so happy all the time?" She moaned. Dandelion was always annoyed with Daisy’s perky, chipper attitude.

"Doesn’t anything ever get you down?" asked Rosey.

”Nope!” she replied. “I mean, sometimes I get sad, but that’s not very fun, so I just choose to be happy, no matter what. I just say to myself, ‘Daisy, think about everyone who has things harder than you’ and then I look all around me and I see amazing things everywhere; from the warm sun in the sky to all the beautiful things right here in our meadow and you wouldn’t believe it, I start to feel better. It’s so cool how my feelings change when my thoughts change. You should try it Dandelion. Now, let’s get outa here!”

Book 2 - STREAM
ADVENTURES AT THE STREAM - FACING YOUR FEARS

As they got closer to the stream, they could hear the water as it trickled over the rocks. Rosey took Daisy’s leaf in hers and said:

"I’m so proud of you, Daisy. Admitting that you are afraid of something takes a lot of courage. It takes even more courage to try to work through it and realize you can overcome that fear."

"You don’t think I’m being silly?" Daisy asked.
"Not at all. We all have things that we are afraid of” Rosey encouraged. “And what we went through, was a terrible thing, Daisy. I think your mom and dad would be very proud of you."

"Woohoo! We’re finally here! Thanks for the ride, Mac!” shouted Dandy, as she slid down Mac’s snout!

It was just as much fun as she’d imagined it would be.

Book 3 - STORM
ADVENTURES IN THE STORM - LOSING SOMEONE YOU LOVE

Rosey held Daisy in one leaf and Dandelion in the other. Storms were always hard for the flowers to get through.

“Thank you, Mac,” said Rosey. “Anytime a storm rolls in, we get really sad. It’s as if we’re going through that awful day all over again.”

“Why don’t you tell me about it?” said Mac. “Maybe sharing your story will help to ease the pain…”

“Maybe you’re right,” said Rosey. She was a little older than Daisy and Dandelion and very protective of them both. She often took on the role of the Mama Flower.

Book 4 - SUNSET
ADVENTURES AT SUNSET - BEFRIENDING DIFFERENT PEOPLE

“Well, we don’t want you to play here,” said Dandelion. “And this is our patch of the field and we can say who plays here.”

“Why not, I don’t mind your smell, little floret.”
“That’s because we smell good!” shouted Dandy. “Duh!”
“That depends on who’s smelling you, I guess.” Duncan shouted back.
“Aren’t you guys looking for girlfriends or something? I’m pretty sure we don’t know any girls that would want to hang out with you two, after rolling poop around all day.”
Dudley spoke up:

“It just so happens there are some girls who like the way we smell.”
“Well, they are no friends of mine. Yuk!” jabbed Dandy.
Just then Daisy popped out from behind the bushes. She had been listening to Dandelion and couldn’t hold back any longer.

Book 5 - STARS
ADVENTURES UNDER THE STARS - SEEING BEAUTY IN EVERYTHING

“Huh? You too? Same with Duncan and Dudley, rolling their disgusting ball of poop around.”
“I love my light, Dandy. Look what I can do”, Flick said as he flew off of Rosey and up into the night sky, twisting and turning and leaving a swirl of light behind him in beautiful designs. “You can’t do that, can you, Dandy?” he shouted from high above her.
The flowers all watched in wonder as the lightning bug showed off his talent.
Dandy had to admit that this firefly was pretty fun and his skill was very impressive.
He flew down and teased his new friend Dandy as he danced around her head, squealing in delight and laughing with a “Wippee!” His fiery butt seemed to shower the dark sky and his new flower friends with a bright light.
“Wow, Flick, you are amazing to watch!” said Rosey, her eyes wide with wonder. She could tell their new friend was so proud of who he was made to be.
“What fun it would be to be able to light up the sky like that! You’re so beautiful!” Daisy added.
